Survey: Wealthy shoppers spend 80% more online

Affluent consumers spend 80% more than the average shopper buying goods including apparel, accessories, jewelry and watches online, according to Martini Media's Affluent Online Shopper Index Powered by comScore. They're also 40% more likely to make a purchase on a luxury site and also more inclined to do pre-purchase research online, the study found.
