YouTube top source of beauty brand referrals

Facebook and Twitter aren't as important in getting people to buy beauty products, market researchers say, but YouTube has emerged as a key source of referrals. Marketing firm L2 ThinkTank has found that the video site is gaining traction as a brand referral source. Twitter has "fallen off the map" the firm says, and while Facebook is the top referral generator, it is losing that lead quickly while YouTube is making headway.
