Re-imagined Maytag Man now fills in for the fridge

Maytag has given its decades-old repairman character a makeover and a new task in a $50 million campaign from DigitasLBi's Team 180: filling the role of a fridge, an oven, a dishwasher and other Maytag appliances. Actor Colin Ferguson plays the new Maytag Man, and in one spot says, "There's no such thing as downtime for a fridge." The commercial ends with Ferguson turning into a Maytag appliance and the tagline "What's inside matters."
