Survey: Senior managers are a major information security risk

An online survey by KRC Research found that the way key managers do their jobs is a serious threat to many companies' information security. Among information workers from across the U.S. participating in the survey, 87% said they have sent work files to their personal e-mail accounts or cloud accounts. "We didn't necessarily expect what we found, in terms of risks being more concentrated with senior members of organizations," said Eric Friedberg, executive chairman of Stroz Friedberg, which commissioned the survey.
