U.S. retail center vacancies drop in Q4, Reis reports

U.S. retail centers saw an improvement in average vacancy rates for the fourth quarter over the third quarter, dropping to 10.4% from 10.5%, Reis reports. Sales have risen in response to rising consumer confidence in the labor market, it said. Much depends on the market, the report found, pointing to a rising divide between "haves" and "have-not" areas.
