Georgia County takes soft stance on evolution guidelines

Cobb County schools yesterday said teachers should not change their instruction methods to accommodate a new rule that allows the introduction of alternative theories to evolution into classroom discussion. The new guidelines encourage teachers to "promote a sense of scientific inquiry" and to "distinguish between scientific and philosophical or religious issues."
