Indiana bill would link teacher ratings to student scores

The Indiana Senate will take up a bill this session that ties teachers' evaluations to how their students fared on the state exam. While the bill's sponsor says her "modest" proposal does not include bonuses or incentives, the teachers union complains the measure fails to define the weight scores would carry in the evaluations.
