Los Angeles subway line back on lawmakers' radar

With no sign of Los Angeles' famed traffic congestion letting up, plans for completing a subway line in the city are reemerging. Lawmakers are giving the current line, which runs beneath Wilshire Boulevard and stops just a few miles from downtown, another look, however the estimated $4 billion or more needed for completion will likely be a key obstacle.
