Schumer, Jackson make pitch for industry diversity

U.S. Sen. Charles Schumer, D-N.Y., and the Rev. Jesse Jackson are among the political and civil rights leaders adding their voices to the calls for greater diversity among advertising's executive ranks and suppliers. The two spoke yesterday in New York, during a breakfast sponsored by the Wall Street Project Economic Summit, an offshoot of Jackson's Rainbow Push Coalition.
