Carriers cut back routes amid higher costs, economic concerns

Airlines are scaling back growth and cutting unprofitable routes as they face higher fuel prices and easing passenger demand. JetBlue Airways on Monday said it would scale back 2008 capacity growth, and other airlines have announced similar plans.
