Airlines beef up D.C. routes for inauguration

Baltimore-Washington International Airport will see about 30 additional flights as carriers such as Southwest Airlines and AirTran Airways ramp up for the presidential inauguration. "The activity at the airport will probably be similar to a day with busy holiday travel," said an airport spokesman. BWI isn't the only Washington-area airport getting added flights, however. Blogger Bill Lucey found plenty of extra capacity at Washington National and Dulles, as well.
