Class size increase may help Georgia save on teacher salaries

To save money on teacher salaries, Georgia will enable class sizes to be increased by two students at elementary and middle schools -- a decision critics say will create less individual attention for students. The increase is a change to state law limiting the size of core subject classes that officials say could save up to $200 million statewide.
