Industry to be regulated by major critic

Drug-safety advocate Dr. Sidney Wolfe was appointed to a four-year term with the FDA's Drug Safety and Risk Management Committee. Wolfe is seen as a particularly harsh critic of drug companies. In his role as head of the advocacy group Public Citizen, he has led the charge to force 16 drugs off the market.
