New OUT coalition forms in Sunshine State

Organizations United Together is a new coalition of Florida LGBT groups, including SAVE Dade, Palm Beach Human Rights Council and Sarasota Equality Project, whose goal is to lobby jointly for equal rights and to boost LGBT awareness in communities where no organizations are present. OUT, which was inspired by the passage of anti-LGBT amendments in Florida, Arizona and California, is scheduled to meet for the first time on Jan. 24 in Orlando, Fla.
