USDA to buy up to 63.4 million pounds of orange juice

The U.S. Department of Agriculture will buy up to 63.4 million pounds of orange juice worth about $26 million for food-assistance programs. The purchase will help Florida's citrus industry cope with excess inventory, said U.S. Rep. Adam Putnam, R-Fla.
