Tripoli zoo cannot afford to feed animals

It costs roughly $2,000 a day to feed the more than 800 animals at the Tripoli Zoo. Charities have provided much of the funding for food, but that will likely to run out within the next few weeks, according to Zoo Director Anas Ali. "We hope the new government will help us so we don't have to close," Ali said.
