White House officials said Tuesday that President Barack Obama had not ruled out the possibility of removing all U.S. troops from Afghanistan by the end 2014. The comments came ahead of meetings this week between Obama and Afghan President Hamid Karzai. "That would be an option that we would consider," deputy national security adviser Ben Rhodes told reporters. "The president does not view these negotiations as having a goal of keeping U.S. troops in Afghanistan."
