Colo. city commissions report on response to theater shooting

Aurora, Colo., has hired an outside firm to evaluate how police and emergency personnel responded to last year's theater shooting amid questions about an ambulance shortage and the amount of time first responders took to arrive on scene. The fire chief had blamed the lack of ambulances on the "severely congested" site. A final report, which will take at least six months, will be made public.
