Flying within the U.S. improved in 2012

Passengers flying in the U.S. in 2012 experienced fewer canceled flights and delays than in 2011. About 79% of flights arrived on time in 2012, and only 1.4% of flights were canceled, according to data from FlightStats. Fewer bags were lost or delayed through October.
