MGM Resorts official balances guest experience and sustainability

When Cindy Ortega, MGM Resorts International's chief sustainability officer, set out to reduce the effect of the environment by her hotel properties, she said it was important to keep customer expectations and the guest experience in mind. During the past five years, her company lowered its power consumption by more than 10% and reduced water usage by 12% at all of its properties while still providing coveted guest experiences, this feature says.
