Retailers boost use of retargeting e-mails

Some 19% of the top 1,000 online retailers sent at least one re-targeting e-mail to shoppers who abandoned their carts before checkout last year, up from 14.6% in 2011, according to Listrak. “A three-message series is a best practice and something we recommend that every retailer consider," said CEO Ross Kramer.
