Sequent Medical's device shows promise in aneurysm study

Using Sequent Medical's intrasaccular flow disrupter for the endovascular treatment of patients with unruptured wide-neck bifurcation aneurysms proved to be feasible in an initial study of 20 patients. The device, called WEB, earned CE mark approval in Europe in 2010 and is being used at selected clinical sites.
