A comprehensive survey of human emotions reveals 21 for which there's simply no word in English. Among the indescribable emotions: a Czech term denoting torment caused by the sudden realization of one's own misery, and a Mexican Spanish phrase for discomfort stemming from watching someone else's humiliation.
