Antibiotic dosing calculations appear inaccurate for pediatric MRSA infections

Researchers found that calculations for predicting appropriate dosing levels of vancomycin for adults with multidrug-resistant Staphylococcus aureus infections were inaccurate for computing the minimum effective dosages for adolescents between ages 10 and 18. The findings appear in the Journal of Clinical Pharmacology.
