Concrete pouring for Minn. Vikings stadium's foundations is underway

Mortenson Construction crews are pouring concrete for the drill shaft foundations at the Minnesota Vikings' new stadium. Eventually there will be 300 such foundations, measuring about two feet in diameter and seven feet deep. Within a few days, the old Metrodome will be demolished and then cranes will be brought in to begin additional work.
