PLAs outperform text paid-search ads in Q4

Digital marketing platform IgnitionOne reports that impressions for product listing advertisements climbed 380% in Q4 from the same quarter in 2012 as marketers invested more in the ad format. During Thanksgiving week, PLAs, which combine images with text in search engine results, had a 74% higher click-thru rate than traditional search ads.
