Texas construction firm wins state DOT contract

Texas-based FTWoods Construction will begin building on a new center for the Texas Department of Transportation, estimated to cost $4.7 million. The project will be a two-story building taking up about 25,710 square feet. The company also has begun renovation on the new Capital Metropolitan Transportation Authority's Administrative Annex Building, a $3.1 million addition to the an existing 16,000 square-foot old office and storage building.
