Airlines will post profit of about $4B in 2007, group says

Passenger and cargo airlines will earn about $4 billion in 2007, according to the Air Transport Association. "The outlook for 2007 is the most promising in years, thanks to a healthy revenue environment and the realization of extensive cost-reduction efforts," an industry spokesman says.
