Children learn multiple languages in globalized world

U.S. children are being pushed through foreign-language programs at ages as young as 6 months, as parents try to ready them for a globalized society. Children who are exposed to multiple languages at a young age are more likely to do better academically and be more open to diversity, according to Francois Thibaut, who runs The Language Workshop for Children.
