Hotelier Geller amasses collection of ultraluxury hotels

Hotelier Laurence Geller has quietly bought at least 20 of the most luxurious hotels in the world, including the Fairmont and InterContinental in Chicago and the Four Seasons in Washington, D.C. Geller has poured millions of dollars into upgrading the hotels, which he says has improved margins and volume.
