British Airways will launch new airline for trans-Atlantic service

British Airways said it will form a new startup unit that will fly between continental Europe and New York. The new airline, dubbed OpenSkies, will launch flights from either Brussels or Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris to New York in June. British Airways said the new airline will fly six 757s by the end of 2009.
