2 companies end plans to build nuclear plants with GE Hitachi

A plan to develop three nuclear plants has collapsed. Entergy and Dominion Resources, which both hoped to build the plants, said they could not reach an agreement with GE Hitachi Nuclear Energy. Meanwhile, Entergy will consider alternate nuclear technology for new reactors in Mississippi and Louisiana, and Dominion will open bidding for a reactor in Virgina.
