Internet pioneer Cerf calls for intercloud standards

Widespread use of cloud computing increases the need for standards and protocols to enable interoperability and data portability between clouds, Internet protocol designer and Google Vice President Vint Cerf said at a conference. Cerf argued that users will need to be able to move data between clouds, but a lack of standardization makes this impossible.
