Campbell: REITs have several enduring qualities

REITs have flourished over the decades because they possess several enduring qualities, says Ken Campbell, who founded the first REIT-dedicated publication, Realty Trust Review, in 1970 and now serves as managing director with ING Clarion Real Estate Securities. These include the high quality of assets they typically own and high-caliber leadership. Their disclosure practices are also noteworthy, he says.
