Partners HealthCare gets $20 million to boost primary care

Partners HealthCare System of Massachusetts received a $20 million donation from New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft and his wife Myra for the creation of a program aimed at increasing the number of primary care providers, including nurse practitioners, in community-based practices. The donation will also be used to pay for as much as $50,000 in medical education loans as well as establish public-private health partnerships nationally.
