Mass. students pick pizza for future lunch menus

Elementary-school students in Methuen, Mass., taste-tested pizzas to select the one that will be served for lunch next fall. Director of nutrition services Wayne Vespa says guidelines require a healthier pizza that will be better for student health, but that using a whole-grain crust may be a tough sell that could reduce school-lunch participation in the short term.
