TransCanada reveals how its $7B pipeline will create 20,000 jobs

TransCanada released a comprehensive breakdown of the jobs that its Keystone XL pipeline would generate in the U.S. if it secures approval. The project would need 13,000 workers for the pipeline's construction and for pumping stations, while another 7,000 jobs would be created in the U.S. manufacturing sector, said Russ Girling, president and CEO of TransCanada. "These are new, real U.S. jobs," he said.
