US Airways is against plan for new runway at Pa. airport

US Airways is opposed to an airport expansion plan that will add a runway to Philadelphia International Airport. The carrier and other airlines would shoulder the cost of the new runway. Airlines "are flying fewer flights, and they simply don't see the need to put more and more concrete on the ground and drive their fixed costs up," aviation consultant Robert W. Mann said.
