Medicare secondary-payments bill gets Obama's signature

President Barack Obama has signed into law a bill aimed at easing insurers' repayments to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services for medical treatments related to workers' compensation and other liability claims. The bill, which cleared Congress last month, contains provisions of the proposed Strengthening Medicare and Repaying Taxpayers Act.
