Nokia to report strong Lumia sales in Q4

Nokia has some good news to tout: Two weeks ahead of its fourth-quarter earnings report, the cellphone maker said sales of its Lumia smartphones rose more than 50% from a year ago with 4.4 million shipments of the Windows Phone handsets. Chief Executive Stephen Elop said the company would break even or manage a small profit. “I think what we are starting to see now is what will be a steady turnaround in Nokia’s fortunes," said Francisco Jeronimo, an IDC analyst.
