Philips debuts device to help seniors when they fall

Philips has introduced a device, worn on the neck, that can be used to alert emergency responders in case of falls and trips among elderly patients. The device, called the Lifeline GoSafe, comes with built-in cellular connectivity that can be activated at the push of a button and integrated sensors that can call for emergency aid automatically during a fall.
