Should school-meal standards be relaxed further?

School nutrition professionals in a South Dakota district say they were pleased by the federal government's decision to relax some aspects of new, healthier meal standards. However, Sandi Kramer, foodservices director, said she would prefer calorie limits be waived as well to allow more flexibility. "Our hands are still tied on a lot of things," she said. "It doesn't take long to fill those calories."
