U.S. corn exports slumped again last week

U.S. corn exports fell to a new marketing-year low for the second week in a row in the week that ended Jan. 3, according to the Department of Agriculture. Exports slipped to 106,800 metric tons, down 48% from the week before and 64% from the average of the past four weeks, the USDA said. The biggest destinations were Japan, Mexico and Guatemala.
