Bipartisan bill would fast-track trade deals

Sen. Max Baucus, D-Mont.; Sen. Orrin Hatch, R-Utah; and Rep. Dave Camp, R-Mich., have unveiled legislation that would fast-track congressional support for trade agreements. Under the "trade promotion authority," lawmakers would agree to approve or reject trade deals without using procedural tactics to slow them down or amend them.
