Las Vegas hosts fewer federal conferences, meetings, report says

Federal agencies are booking fewer events in Las Vegas, according to a recent report. Government spending fell to $92,736 on Las Vegas hotel rooms in fiscal year 2013, according to the report. That’s down from nearly $2.5 million in 2010. Meanwhile, some tourism officials expect that the number of large-scale federal conferences and meetings in the city to eventually start to increase.
