OECD data show U.S. falling behind in residential fiber

Thanks to a large population, the U.S. leads all Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development countries in the total of broadband subscribers, but the data indicate Americans have some catching up to do in fiber-to-the-home deployment. The U.S. falls below the OECD average in FTTH, and ranks 14th in percentage of fiber connections in broadband subscriptions.
