DOT to announce pilot guidelines for laser flashes

The Department of Transportation is expected today to instruct pilots how to react to lasers flashing their aircraft. Authorities have said there is no evidence the laser flashings are the work of terrorists. A New Jersey man was recently arrested for pointing a laser at two aircraft.
