San Francisco teachers want pay hike akin to what their boss got

Insisting it's only fair teachers receive about the same salary boost that Superintendent Arlene Ackerman won last November, the San Francisco teachers union plans to press for a 12% pay raise when its representatives meet with the school board tonight. The school district sympathizes but says it doesn't have the money.
