Study: 10% of Connecticut high scorers didn't attend college

Nearly 10% of Class of 1998 students who scored well on Connecticut's 10th-grade achievement test did not enroll in college within five years of high school graduation, according to a new study being presented today to the Board of Governors for Higher Education and the State Board of Education. The research also indicates that for those who did pursue higher education, the state exam served as a strong indicator of college success.
