Analyst: Google, CBS radio deal in final stages

Google and CBS are in final negotiations over a "wide-ranging" ad sales and content deal likely to focus on radio but not local TV or the Web, according to a report from Merrill Lynch. Issues left to resolve likely include control of ad sales and the fee CBS would charge Google for showing TV content on YouTube and other sites, said lead broadcast analyst Jessica Reif Cohen.
